Romeo DDA Board Meeting
The Romeo DDA Board meets twice a month, the FIRST and THIRD Wednesday of each month, at 7:30 pm at the Romeo Community Center, 361 Morton Street. The next regular meeting will be on Wed. September 15, 7:30p.m.

DDA SIGN Grant Program
Starting in January 2010, the DDA is offering financial incentives for DDA District business signage, both new and replacement. The SIGN Grant program follows the DDA CBD Model Design Guidelines for Signage and is available to both business owners and property owners. More information is available.

CBD Model Design Guidelines for Signage, 1/2010
Romeo MRP has DDA support to update the signage guidelines to include certain portable signs and request a sign ordinance change for them. The Planning Commission is addressing this now in Jan./Feb. 2010.watch for changes.

MEDC UR 3.0 2010 Grant recipient!
Romeo DDA is pleased to announce that Romeo is a MEDC Urban Revitalization 3.0 2010 grant recipient and will be accomplishing a major improvement project this summer! Watch for more details!

DDA Building Facade Award Program, 2010

CBD Streetscape Concept Plan Project 2009
The DDA is taking comment on the draft Concept Plan by Rowe Professional Services, our consultants and reviewing submitted information. The CBD Streetscape Concept Plan, addresses the No. 1 DDA RB06 priority, Traffic and Pedestrian Access to downtown. These improvements are key to downtown success.

SW Alleyway Improvement Project
Romeo DDA contractor Wing Construction of Utica, MI. provided 'design build' services for the southwest alleyway, west of S. Main Street. Have a look at the photos of the completed dumpster corral!

Village of Romeo Reconnaissance Survey Completed
